Once upon a time there was a little baby girl from the northeast of England who suffered terribly with eczema and was extremely sensitive to laundry detergents, the residue of which on her clothes made her extremely sore and itchy, so itchy that she scratched until her sore skin bled.

This little girl had a very loving mother called Violet who cared deeply for her and wanted to do all she could to ease her daughter’s suffering.
