Fossflakes is a synthetic down-like filling material for bedding products created by Danish inventor Lars Foss to mimic the softness of fresh snow. You'll find the Fossflakes Duvet exceptionally airy and light, with the luxurious feel of natural down.
But this is also a duvet with a difference.
As you sleep and warm up, heat is stored in the special Fossflakes filling of this wonderfully comfortable duvet. As your body temperature lowers, the heat is released. This cycle repeats itself throughout the night. So a Fossflakes Duvet gives you climate control in bed, helping to regulate your body temperature so you stay snug all night and are less likely to overheat.
For sleepers sharing a bed, differing body temperatures can mean one partner is boiling hot whilst the other is pretty chilly. However, the Fossflakes duvet responds to the body temperature of each sleeper, so both you and your partner can enjoy the temperature that's more suitable for both of you.
The Fossflakes filling is evenly distributed and will never clump even after repeated washing, and your Fossflakes Duvet will keep its shape and volume for years.
Recommended for asthma and allergies, eczema, psoriasis, hot flushes, hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), itching, insomnia, the effects of chemo and any condition made worse by overheating.
NB. Allergy Best Buys stocks the Autumn version of the Fossflakes duvet because that is the one considered to be most suitable for the UK climate. Only in the warmest weather would you need something lighter and only in the coldest weather would you need an additional layer.
