There are models to suit 1-4 bathroom homes:

  • Pureau 1, for a 1-bath house, provides flow up to 20 litres per minute, costs less than 26p per day to run and is 25% cheaper than a salt water softener.
  • Pureau 2, for a 2-bath house, provides flow up to 40 litres per minute, costs less than 26p per day to run and is 25% cheaper than a salt water softener.
  • Pureau 3/4, for a 3/4-bath house, provides flow up to 80 litres per minute, costs less than 50p per day to run and is 15% cheaper than a salt water softener.

Both the Pureau 1 and 2 will fit in a kitchen cabinet. The Pureau 3/4 is best mounted on a wall in a utility area or garage.

1st Filter Cartridge - 1-year life ( Filtration stages 1 & 2). With a highly efficient high flow, combined carbon fibre and hard carbon outer shell, this filter stops sediment ingress (stage1), removes chlorine, pesticides, organic contaminants, heavy metals, VOC’s and greatly improves taste (stage 2). The filter is washable over its 12 month lifetime to ensure optimum flow and performance.

2nd Filter Cartridge - 3-year life (Filtration stages 3 & 4) Contains Ceramet, a patented blend of active ceramic granules and scale prevention media. Ceramet media is 99% effective at stopping the formation of hard scale in pipework by forming tiny bubbles of pre formed scale and will even descale existing water filter systems and water softener systems over time (stage 3) . Ceramet kills bacteria such as E coli, salmonella and staphylococcus aureus (known to aggravate eczema), removes fluoride and trace heavy metals. In addition, the Ceramet water treatment bed balances the pH of the water and because the surface of the beads are active, produces infrared energy to vitalise your body (stage 4).

3rd Filter Cartridge - average 3 month life (Filtration stage 5) Contains premium, high capacity ion exchange resins which remove up to 90% of the calcium and magnesium bubbles left in the water to ensure spotting of chrome and other fixtures is reduced whilst retaining enough essential minerals in the water to ensure its great taste and quality for drinking.

The Pureau No-Salt Whole House Filter is a superb English-made unit combining a Whole-House Water Filter and No-Salt Softener to offer clear, fresh, non-scaling water for drinking, bathing and gardening. It kills the Staph. aureus bacteria that causes eczema flare-ups and removes chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals.

There are three replaceable cartridges:
