Children with allergies get a raw deal from the NHS, with only 8 Paediatric Allergy specialists in Britain, compared for example with over 500 in Germany. The Evelina team is also able to offer treatments such as immunotherapy and desensitisation and is actively involved in cutting-edge research to develop new treatments to prevent and alleviate allergies. To be seen by one of the consultants at the Evelina your doctor must refer your child to one of the consultants at the hospital. Referrals are taken from anywhere in the UK.
