Don't use paper tissues for hay fever! If you're constantly blowing your runny nose into a paper tissue you could be prolonging the misery of rhinoconjunctivitis and perennial or seasonal rhinitis (hay fever). Studies* by Danish researchers indicate that the fibres of paper tissues and the chemicals used to bleach and dye them can all irritate the mucous membranes. If you look at the cloud of wood pulp dust that is released into the air when you draw a paper tissue from its box then you'll see that this can't help either. Use these CottonSoft gentle organic cotton tissues and stop putting your nose and eyes into the allergens you're trying to avoid!
