Cool, lightweight, silk-filled duvets you can wash - a natural, luxurious, hypoallergenic alternative to synthetic fillings.

We had many requests for a cool lightweight duvet in natural materials from customers with chemical sensitivity or eczema. We found the perfect answer in these new SilkWash SuperCool®  silk-filled duvets from The Sounder Sleep Company, leaders in anti-allergen bedding.

Pure silk duvets are lightweight and breathable, highly wickable, soft and comforting. But duvets filled with silk alone have to be dry-cleaned. This is no good for the chemically sensitive and hopeless for anyone with dustmite allergies or eczema who has to wash their bedding frequently. But adding natural cotton to the silk filling means you can wash these superb quality duvets at 60°C (to denature allergens) or even 90°C (to sterilise) and keep them fresh, hypoallergenic and free of chemicals and house dustmites.

They're a cool and comfortable 4.5 tog and filled with 60% wild silk and 40% pure cotton and each duvet is individually made and filled with hand layered silk floss and cotton in a lustrous dustmite proof cotton case.

They are not "puffy" like feather and down but are stitched to softly drape around the contours of the body, like a thick, comforting, cool blanket. SilkWash SuperCool® silk-filled duvets are completely natural and chemical-free and offer a light and luxurious alternative to man-made fillings.
