My asthma has been getting steadily worse since my late 20's. I was becoming so short of breath I was having to use my inhaler two or three times a day. I did the breathing exercises for five minutes every morning and I could feel my lungs were having to work extra hard to breathe through the mouthpiece. Like many asthmatics, not only was it hard to draw breath but I also found it hard to push the air out of my lungs. But both became much easier within a couple of weeks. Not only was I not getting breathless on my runs, even everyday tasks like walking and going up stairs became easier. I went from needing to use my inhaler once or more a day to practically not using it at all
