Children with asthma and eczema are almost all allergic to house dustmite allergen, found mainly in the warm, moist, dark filling of pillows and duvets.
Until they’re one year old it is recommended that babies sleep under a cotton sheet and cellular blanket but after that it’s important  to choose bedding that can be repeatedly washed at the high temperature necessary to denature the dustmites’ dangerous allergen.

My First Pillow, beautifully made in England, is filled with just the right amount of loose airy clusters of siliconised polyester to support little heads and necks. The cover is cool 100% cotton and you can choose a size to fit either a cotbed or standard single bed. Washable at 60º, the temperature that denatures dustmite allergen. 

My First Duvet is a lightweight 4.5tog filled with 100% Ultralight polyester that feels like down. It is a light and comfortable breathable duvet with an amazingly soft microfibre peachskin cover. It is highly compressible and fits easily into a domestic washing machine.

Once a month wash the Pillow and Duvet at 60º and tumble dry to eradicate dustmite allergen and keep your child safe.
